The LIFE FORECCAsT project started in July 2016 and will end in early 2020. This project is made possible by three beneficiaries, which carry the prohect, seven co-financer, which bring in their financial support, six technical partners, which help the beneficiaries in the completion of some action, and a territorial steering committee, which ensures that the project actions are linked to the territory in which they happen.
The Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park (PNR HL) is the coordinating beneficiary of the FORECCAsT project. It is one of the 53 French Regional Nature Park. Created in 1973, it is situated in the highlands of Tarn and Hérault departments.
The National Forest Ownership Centre (CNPF) is a public structure at the service of the 3.3 millions of French forest owners. Its missions include forest development, management orientation and improvement of the private forests production.
Forest and Wood Alliance (AFB) is the first French forest cooperative groupe created and administrated by private forest owners.

Through a group of Master students, AgroParisTech - Centre de Nancy contributed to the step 2 and step 5 of the implementation of the mobile application "FORECCAsT by BioClimSol", by testing several models, variables and methods useful for its creation. |

Through a group of Master students, the ENSAT contributed to the D1 action by testing a method of monitoring Carbone storage in our test sites. |

Thanks to our partnership, the
IGN contributes to the C1 and C2 actions about the conservation of vulnerable habitats by allowing us to access to and use its database concerning the geographic range of forest Habitats of Community Interest. It also provided us with a simplified inventory protocol for Atlantic acidophilous beech forests (9120 habitat) and helped us to implement this protocol in our sampling sites by contributing to the fieldwork. Finally, it calculated, for the benefit of FORECCAsT, national conservation status indicators of this habitat at the Haut-Languedoc regional nature park scale. |

Through a group of students from the Gestion Sociale de l'Environnement - Valorisation des Ressources Territoriales Master, the INUC contrbuted to the A2 action by performing the preliminary survey of climate change perception by local stakeholders. |

The INRA and in particular Philippe Lagacherie contribue to the step 3 and step 5 of the implementation of the mobile application "FORECCAsT by BioClimSol", by overseeing the work of FORECCAsT Pedology officer and promoting the project results in the scientific community. |

Météo France contributes to the implementation of the mobile application "FORECCAsT by BioClimSol" by granting us access to some of their meteorological data. |
The territorial steering commities (territorial COPIL) gather:
It is presided by Mr. René Moreno, Occitanie regional councillor. Its role is to ensure that the project is goiging accordingly to what was initially planned and to keep a link between the project actions and the territory where they happen. It is a orientation and general control body. Its partners are often interested in the medium or long term use of the mobile application to guide public politics. The first territoral COPIL happened in November 2016, the second in November 2017 and the next one will happen in late 2018.
